Photo Friday: Seventeen Saloon, Saigon

Walking back from the market in downtown Saigon, I stumbled across the Seventeen Saloon. It is decorated to look like an old western fort, with rough-hewn logs, heavy wooden furniture, and eight foot tall totem poles at the entrance. They weren’t open yet, so I missed my chance to buy an over-priced beer.

The movie just came out — it’ll take at least another day for the bootlegs to show up ;)
