Sapa is a lovely town to wander about on foot. But, to really get a feel for the area, rent a scooter and head out of town to explore the rice fields and local hill tribe villages. It’s the best $6 you’ll ever spend.

Wow, only $6 to rent a scooter?
Those shades of green are something you can’t reallly find in the states. It must rain like crazy over there. This is a really great shot (just seen the flickr photos on the right-awesome!).
