Photos from a Lotus Plantation in South Korea

A central symbol of Buddhism, the lotus flower is also an important source of food in Korea. Every part of the plant, from roots to flowers is used in traditional dishes all over the country. This small family-owned plantation covered several acres of land and was filled with flowers in shades of white and hot pink. I hope you enjoy the photos.
