Travel Photo of the Week: Morning Light on Laguna Coba, Mexico

While waiting for the Coba Mayan Archaeological Site to open, I wandered around the nearby lagoon. It’s very peaceful in the morning and I only had to share it with a couple of herons and what I think was a crocodile peering at me from the water.

Nice shot. I almost feel like I can walk into the picture and peer at the croc myself. Haha

Hey John,

I agree with Andy, looks so insanely peaceful and also great shot mate!

Maybe that’s not a suitable place for a swim after all? I mean, the deck wouldn’t have those two sticks in the end I guess.

Anyway, glad that croc didn’t get you man, speak soon!

Sergio

It’s a tame(ish) crocodile. You can feed it chicken chunks from the end of the jetty in your picture. Should you wish, of course.
