Photo of the Week: Ladies with Umbrellas at Chiang Mai’s Flower Festival

Photo of the Week: Umbrellas at Chiang Mai's Flower Festival

Thai parades are a very interactive affair. The procession will move along for about fifty feet, then stop and dozens of families will charge into the street to have their photos taken with the floats, bands and marchers. After dodging and dancing with a handful of other photographers, I managed to grab this shot of several lovely women in traditional dress.

Thanks! I’ve been showing a buddy around Thailand the last 10 days and didn’t have much blogging time. Getting caught up now, though.

Thanks, Ken! Spent 10 days drinking and eating with a buddy. Felt guilty letting the blog simmer on the back burner, but it was a nice break :)
