Photo of the Week: Holding Hands at a Thai Wedding

Travel Photos: Holding Hands at a Thai Wedding

When my friends Mark and Sa asked me to play photographer at their wedding, I was thrilled. They had a traditional ‘Chiang Mai-style” ceremony, complete with traditional outfits and chanting monks followed by a night of eating, drinking and dancing. It was a wonderful day.

As I was the official photographer, I was allowed to be witness every part of the ceremony and it was an amazing experience. I’ll be following up soon with a photo essay soon but I’m still digging through the 500+ shots.

Hoo boy, you’re right about the partying. The day after was a bit grim, personally…
