Travel Photos:Taming a Horse at India's Camel Fair

Pushkar’s annual Camel Fair isn’t all about camels. While wandering about near sunset, I found these two men trying to break a horse. He put up a good fight, nearly throwing the rider twice but eventually gave in. Personally, I was rooting for the horse.

Great shot! The orange light is gorgeous and you really captured the motion, there. Wonderful!

Thanks. The sunlight filtering through all of the dust and smoke was lovely.

Wes, so great to see you are still on the road. I’m just back from my very short 3 months in Italy and taking time to check in on old friends / blogs. Have to say your photography is amazing! You can really see the progression over the last year. Your writing, of course, is still fantastic and hilarious. Keep it up, my friend.
